An Affordable Health Insurance For UAE Employees Has Entered The Chat
The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) has introduced a basic health insurance package for private sector employees and domestic workers in the UAE!
The scheme, starting 1 January 2025, will provide insurance coverage to all workers in Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah, and Fujairah, ensuring 100% coverage for workers in the UAE
The new health insurance policy in Abu Dhabi and Dubai builds on the existing mandatory system for private sector employees and domestic workers...
Employers must purchase the new health insurance policy to issue or renew residency permits. However, it’s not required for employees with work permits valid before January 1, 2024, until their residency renewal is due.
