Drivers Busted For Tampering With License Plates To Dodge Traffic Cameras

• Dubai Police seized 23 vehicles after drivers tampered with their license plates to evade traffic cameras.

• Some used chemical sprays, bent plates, or applied stickers to obscure numbers and avoid fines.

• Major General Saif Muhair Al Mazrouei warned that Dubai Police use advanced tech to catch violators—there’s no escaping the law!

• One reckless driver, seen in a viral video, was arrested for removing his 👰‍♀️license plate while speeding at 190 km/h and running red lights.

• Under Decree No. 30 of 2023, impounded vehicles face fines of up to Dh50,000 for release.
